Wes came home from work the other day with this. A 50 lbs box of Idaho potatoes. Turns out he saw a patient who was a potato farmer from Idaho. He said he couldn't afford to pay for his visit with money so he paid with potatoes instead. The doctor got 100 lbs and Wes and another NP each got 50 lbs. I don't know what I'm going to do with 50 lbs of potatoes because about a month ago I bought a five pound bag and we still have about half. But, I must say, it's pretty cool that they let him pay in potatoes. It even says on his bill "Paid in Potatoes".Friday, November 7, 2008
