I guess I'm "It".

1. Where did you meet? Springville, Utah. We were at a Halloween/wedding party, he with his friends, me on a blind date with a much older guy.

2. How long did you date before you were married? 6 months.

3. How long have you been married for? 9 years

4. What does he do that surprises you? Randomly decides to do embarassing things such as singing kareoke at a ward Valentines dance or singing along with my cell phone at Kaylee's soccer game.

5. What is your favorite feature about him? His eyebrows.

6. What's your favorite quality about him? He is vert hard working. He works harder and longer than everyone else.

7. Does he have a nickname for you? no

8. What's his favorite color? Blaze orange for the deer hunt.

9.What's his favorite food? Chips

10.What is his favorite sport? It just became rugby I think.

11. Who said I love you first? I did

12. When and where was your first kiss? February 1999, Ephraim, Ut.

13. What's your favorite thing to do as a couple? Just be together.

14. Do you have any kids? How many? 3 with one on the way. Kaylee is 6, Kara is 4 and Andrew is 2. Baby is Due April 21.

15. What's a hidden talent that he has? He can throw a football a really long way. At least that's what he used to say.

16. How old is he? 31

17. What's his favorite type of music? Country

18. What do you admire most about him? He tries really hard to always do what is right.

19. What is his favorite past time? Used to be hunting, he's pretty frustrated by that lately. But really, with a new job, three kids and an Elder's Quorum calling who has any left over time?

20. Do you think that he is going to read this? No, I don't think he know's how to get to our bolg.

A Day at the Gardens

Yes, I'm catching up on laziness so two in one day. So the other day we (the kids and I) went to the Children's Discovery Garden at Thanksgiving Point.

We wandered around the maze...

And wandered some more....

And ended up lost and in a dead end. Look how sad they are.

We did eventually find the way out.
Kaylee climbed into the giant caterpillar.

You had to walk around the swirl to get in to the caterpillar but Kara had a hard time finding the way out. She had to wait for Kaylee to show her the way.













They joined the bugs on stage...















And checked out the baby bear. They wouldn't go near the big one. They have a big bear statues in a cave so I tried to get the kids to go down and look at it. You could barely see it in the dark. So I picked up Andrew and he clung to me and kept saying scared. Kara made it to the bottom of the stairs when the bear growled. She ran back up and wouldn't go anywhere near the cave anymore.

Right as I stopped recording the sheep shot water at the girls. Bad timing on my part. After a few minutes of playing they were all soaked. We ended up at Grandma's house where the girls ran around in Grandma's old shirts and Andrew in just a diaper while their clothes dried.

24th Celebrations

On the 23rd we went to the Spanish Fork rodeo. We had a great time.

They had skydivers bring in the flag. I had never actually seen someone jump out of a plane before.

Here we all are!

By the end of the night Andrew (and everyone else) was pretty tired but we all had lots of fun.

Then on the 24th the girls and I were in the Mapleton Parade. Look close, they're both there.

Kaylee was a bunny and Kara was a horse.

Kaylee wasn't very happy about having missed watching the parade.

When we ask Andrew what his name is he says "Josh". Josh is the neighbor boy who is Andrew's age. Don't you love kids.

More Summer Fun

What says Summer more than baseball? So for those of you who aren't in summer yet here are fome fabulous baseball shots.

SUMMER!

Ok, I know it's not really summer (Kaylee reminds me every time I say it) but it is summer break and last week it even felt like summer. It was 95 degrees! So we went out and bought a sprinkler for the kids to play in.

Except, notice how dry they all are. Kara is the only one who actually ran in the water! Kaylee crept up to the end and would spray Kara and Andrew. Here is Andrew's reaction.

For once it wasn't Kara making Andrew cry. She likes to follow him around and half growl half scream until Andrew runs away crying. I'll have to get her on video sometime.

Another thing that makes it seem like summer is that Kaylee is out of school! Here are some pictures of the last day of school with her teacher Mrs. Murdock.

Her last day of school was Thursday the 22nd. Friday night at 3:45 in the morning Kaylee came into our room and said "Mom" I, half asleep, replied "mmm". "I want to go back to school". She's already bored! What am I going to do with them all summer?

Kristy's B-day at the ZOO!

So she decided that for her birthday she wanted to go to the zoo. Of course, the kids were pretty excited about that. So it was all planned- then we watched the weather report. Low 40's, windy, rain and snow. Yikes! So we decided to go anyway. The drive up was very very windy so we were worried we would be eating and breathing airborn animal poop all day. But when we got to the zoo it was quite nice. A little cool but I'll take cool over scorching hot anyday. So apparently the time to go is on a cold day first thing in the morning. We went in right after it opened and for about an hour it was just us and one other group in the whole place! Here are some cute pics.

So this leopard kept walking back and forth right by the glass and every time he would look right at Andrew like "mmm tasty". It was a little creepy. Then we realized it probably couldn't see us because of the sun on the glass so it was probably seeing it's reflection.
