The Decreasing Value of A Dollar

Today a dollar fell out of my back pocket (for some reason things don't stay in my pockets) and into the toilet I had just used. I sat there for a minute looking at the dollar sitting atop the toilet paper and wondered, is it worth it? Do I value that one dollar bill enough to reach my hand into the toilet and pluck the pee soaked bill from it's watery grave?
Nope, I flushed. What would you do? What dollar amount would it have to be for you to pick it out? A 5? A 20?

Ah, September

I'm sure you noticed I haven't posted much this month. I figured you didn't want to know about all the grossness going on around here. It all started with Kara on the 4th. Two full days. A few days later it was Anna's turn. That's the worst, by the way. Fortunately she was only sick for a day. A week later, Andrew. Ew, ew, ew. Trust me, you don't want to know. Today Kaylee stayed home from school. She's fine now but I'm not sending her to school if she might be sick. Now it's the 24th. That's 20 days of sick. Sick.

Love This!

Good-bye boring laundry room!  I wish I had front loaders so I could do this.  http://showandtell-sausha.blogspot.com/2010/03/laundry-room.html

A Sneak Peek...

Here's a little peek into life at the Larsen's.
Remind you of anyone?

Plum Syrup

I started with these... (thanks Dad)
Washed them...
Cut them in half and added lots of sugar...
cooked it all for a while...
then put it in jars and sealed them. This was the result.
15 jars of yummy plum syrup!

First Day of School

Ok so it was really the second day of school. I forgot to take pictures the first day.
