Random Cuteness

Someone gave us a box of really old printer paper- you know, the kind that's all in a big line withh the holes on the sides. Kaylee finds it incredibly useful. She has made multiple dresses and necklaces and earrings, etc. Even paper shoes.

The kids like to watch "In Performance" on KBYU. This week it was a dance concert. They were all dancing- even Anna. Unfortunately I didn't get any video. The funny part- they were all wearing "dancing shoes". Which were their church shoes except that Andrew wore Kara's church shoes.

The other day I was making dinner. Noodles and Alfredo sauce. It was almost done when I heard "bounce bounce plop"
Me: What was that?
Andrew: My bouncy ball
Me: Did it go in the sauce?
Andrew: Mm- hm
So I hurriedly fished it out (they float, by the way) because I didn't know if it would melt.
Before Kaylee would eat any dinner she asked "Does it taste like bouncy ball?"

Stump Removal

This is the giant hole that was left from digging out stumps. It took a lot longer than Wes expected and he wasn't able to do everything he wanted before he had to return the backhoe. Now our backyard is really fine dusty dirt and when the kids go out they come back covered. Hopefully it will rain soon and kind of pack it down again.

I Should Have Knocked on Wood

Sunday we had to plunge.

TMI

I love my toilets.
Yup, my toilets. I know it a strange thing to love, but I do. Why, you ask? In our last home I had to use the plunger almost every day. We've been here roughly seven weeks now and I haven't had to plunge yet.

Growing Up Too Fast

Anna had her 15 month check up the other day. She's doing great! All of her communication and motor skills, etc. are where she should be or better. The doctor was surprised that she can use a spoon and fork. The only thing that's behind is her weight. She's still in the 5th percent. That means 95% of girls her age weigh more. She isn't even 20 lbs yet. I thought she was so I turned her car seat around. Oops. Now I don't know that she would be ok with facing backward anymore. She is pretty tall though, about 60th percent.
Anna is really figuring things out. She can climb on the chairs and bar stools now.

The other day she pushed a chair over to the back of the couch, climbed on, the climbed over the back of the couch and down to the floor. About 15 times.
At dinner on Sunday we discovered Anna can whistle. How cute is this?!
