Yes, We Are Still Alive!

We have no internet access since we moved so who knows when you will hear from us again. A couple of fun facts.

We live in the wilderness. We have had multiple deer (including a 4 point buck), quail, squirrels, and a skunk in our backyard.

So the final cleaning and inspection are today, we do our final walk through tomorrow and close on Thursday. We will probably start to move things Thursday afternoon. YEAH!!

Summer Fun

Tuesday was the epitomy of summer. Sprinklers, swimsuits and watermelon. Anna surprised me by walking right into the water and spashing around. She loved it!

I Think It's Done!

I really think our house is done! The landscaping is even in. They do still need to clean, however. I'm so happy with how it's turned out. I'm also really excited to move in. We are supposed to do our walk through Monday then close Wednesday and Wes has the day off Thursday so we'll probably start moving then.

Released

Sunday I was released from my calling as Primary Secretary. To my surprise, the whole presidency was also released.We just had our last presidency meeting and turned everything over to the new presidency.  It's kind of a sad/glad/nervous time. I'm sad I won't be working with those women any more- they are incredible. I'm sad I won't be in Primary to feel the Spirit so strong every week.  I'm glad I don't have to do all the work associated with being secretary. I'm glad I'll be able to go to Sunday School and RS. I'm nervous about what my calling will be in our new ward. You know what they say- the only thing consistant in life is change.

ARGH!

They have done nothing on the house in a few days. They told us it would be done the beginning on the week. Then the end of the week. Now it's the beginning of next week. Arrrrrrgggghhhhh.

We went to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point.

One Stop

I've been looking for table and couches for like, months with no success. Yesterday Wes and I went out looking again, ready to spend the whole day if necessary. Our first stop we found the table I wanted (and they matched the price from another store) and sofa set that we liked. And it was on sale. And they had barstools to match our dining set. And they were on sale too.

This is the sofa and love seat. It also comes with a chair and ottoman.
