Or, more accurately, I want to send the kids out to play.

Groundhog Day

Do you remember the movie Groundhog Day? The one where the guy keeps living the same day over and over? That is what my life feels like lately. Anna wakes up at 6:30, I nudge Wes, he gets her and changes her, I feed her and put her back to bed, I try to sleep for 20 more minutes, the kids get up and turn on the TV, I get up and make breakfast, Anna gets up again, "Get dressed", "brush your hair", "brush your teeth", "Is your bed made?", "please practice piano", "Get dressed", "brush your hair", "brush your teeth", "Is your bed made?", "please practice piano", "Get dressed", "brush your hair", "brush your teeth", "Is your bed made?", "please practice piano". Walk the girls out to school, "Mom, what should we do?", do the dishes, wipe the table, wipe the counter, sweep the floor, "Mom, what should we do?", start a load of laundry- didn't I just wash this? "Mom, I'm starving"....

I think I need a vacation.

Manners

Andrew has picked up the habit of belching. I thought, at least I can teach him to say "excuse me". So, one day he belches and I say "what do you say?"
He says, "thank you?"

How Embarassing

In hopes of moving in the near futureI decided I better file that pile of papers on top of the desk. There were papers from January 2008. Yup- two years ago.

Mohawk

I wanted to give Andrew a haircut- as you can see it's a little long. Wes wouldn't let me so I gave Andrew a mohawk.
