The Best Vacation Ever!

Last weekend we thought it would be fun to take the kids to Salt Lake and stay in a hotel for a couple of nights. All was well Friday night. We went to dinner then to Build -a- Bear where they spent their Christmas money. Of course, getting the kids to settle down and go to sleep in a hotel was a challenge- especially since they were all in the same bed (we pushed the double bed against the wall and put them sideways so they all fit). Saturday morning we woke up and went to breakfast where Kara threw up. Yup, in the restaurant. So we go back to the hotel where I'm so frazzled from dealing with sick that I back into a wall and put a nice big dent in my bumper. Mm hmm, more fun. We decided that rather than go straight home, we'd give Kara some time to see if she felt better so I took Kaylee and Andrew to the planetarium. We had fun but they kept saying "I wish Kara were here". We all wish things had gone better because we had a lot of fun things planned but Kara didn't feel any better so we went home after lunch on Saturday. Here are some pictures from the planetarium. More Birthday Fun

Kaylee celebrated her 7th birthday a couple of weeks ago. We had a family party with the Rogers, then on Saturday she invited some friends over for a pizza party. Here are some fun pics and videos.
